  The Giving Project to Launch First Platform Campaign Benefiting the  Empire State Educational Scholarship Fund


Clarence, NY, March 14, 2018: The Giving Project, an online professional fundraising platform that works closely with local companies to generate large amounts of money for deserving charities while providing them with a low cost and effective marketing tool, this week announced they will be launching their first campaign to benefit the Empire State Educational Scholarship fund. 


The winning prize, donated by the Miss NY Organization, is two tickets to see the musical, Hamilton, performed at the Shea’s Performing Arts Theatre in Buffalo when it arrives later this year. The contest kicks off on April 2nd and concludes on June 30th.


“We’re a new kind of charity-based organization, one that aims to get businesses involved in the giving process while providing them with invaluable marketing and branding exposure,” said Joseph Castle, Founder and President of the Giving Project. “Throughout the month of each unique campaign, we use every marketing method and channel available to us to draw the greatest number of people to our website where they can donate. We want giving to become second nature to Americans.”


When individuals donate to the campaign charities, they are then entered into a sweepstakes sponsored by the business for a prize.


The Giving Project provides business with access to community outreach, social media development, brand exposure, employee satisfaction, and a low-cost advertising business model by sponsoring a campaign. If a business does not want to donate the actual prize, they also have the option of becoming a partner in the campaign by matching a donation amount or making a flat donation to the cause.


“We want to have as many people as possible donating to as often as possible,” said Castle. “In essence, we want to make giving a habit. We want to encourage everyone to take part in our first campaign series, offering a chance to see the groundbreaking and award-winning Hamilton musical as a reward for participating. As always, we want to thank the Miss NY Organization for making this first campaign possible.”


The Giving Project also hosts a Workplace Giving Program, providing employers with the opportunity to offer employees a membership as a perk of employment. In return, the Giving Project gives employees additional bonus entries for being employed by that company. The program is free to use, and ensures extensive marketing exposure to companies that participate while benefiting even more local charities.
